About

For the people who run things.

OperatorStack started for a simple reason: the internet is drowning in software recommendations and almost none of them are useful. Not to a CFO staring down a board meeting. Not to a COO trying to close the books three days faster. Not to a founder who needs one tool that actually works, not a listicle of thirty that might.

So we built a different kind of publication. One where every story is written for a specific operator with a specific problem. Where every tool gets a win and an asterisk: what it does well, and where it quietly breaks. Where the reader finishes a piece thinking "this person has actually done my job," not "this person is trying to sell me something."

How we make money (and why you should care).

When we recommend a product and you sign up through our link, we may earn a small affiliate fee. That's the entire business model. No display ads, no sponsored posts, no "this review brought to you by" deals.

This only works if you trust us. We only recommend things that are genuinely worth a busy operator's attention. We are in the business of helping busy people be more effective.

Every tool on this site has a win and an asterisk. We tell you who it's for, who it's not for, and what the real adoption cost looks like. If a product isn't good enough, it doesn't make the stack. Full stop.

What we cover.

Tools and tactics for the people who make companies run. Finance automation, procurement, meeting workflows, presentation tools, marketing infrastructure, HR and payroll, AI that actually saves time. If it touches the operator's desk, we'll look at it.

We're especially focused on CFOs and finance leaders right now, because they control the spend and bear the risk. If we can help a CFO find the tool that cuts three days off close or automates a process they've been hand-cranking in spreadsheets, that's a real win. Not a feature-list win. A "my Tuesday is different now" win.

The weekly dispatch.

Every Tuesday we send one short email. One tool worth trying, one tactic worth stealing, and one number your board actually cares about. No fluff. No forwards. Just the substance.
